On May 1st, the Magnolia Parkway Chamber moved into its new home at 7301 Magnolia Parkway—1/2 mile west of the FM 2978 intersection. Through the generosity of Isa Alwazzan - Exit Realty, the Chamber has a spacious new home, complete with a large lobby, a meeting room, and a kitchen.

With ample parking available, this facility will be easily accessible for business developers and newcomers. It gives the Chamber the opportunity to grow its programs, schedule meetings, and to have a base from which to operate. 

Chairman Reed Campbell stated, “We appreciate Isa’s generosity in this offering. We have been looking for a permanent home for such a long time. Lake Creek Bridge Dedication

On May 14, 2009, several local leaders and representatives of the Magnolia area’s chambers gathered to celebrate the official dedication of Lake Creek Bridge. This county project under the direction of Commissioner Craig Doyal was expedited through the cooperation of the Woodlands Development Company. Future plans include an overpass above the railroad track at FM 2854 to connect Fish Creek Thoroughfare directly to McCaleb Road and a more direct access to FM 105 from FM 1488. 

Magnolia Parkway Construction Completed

During the same two month period, another very significant opening was celebrated by the Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce, along with members of the surrounding area’s chamber representatives, as well. With the official celebration of Phase I of Magnolia Parkway, Commissioner Craig Doyal extolled the benefits of the Public/Private initiative utilized in completing the first leg of this I-45 to US 290 artery.
